Breathing Into the Light: One Woman's Journey Embracing the Sacredness of All Life

Breathing Into the Light: One Woman's Journey Embracing the Sacredness of All Life

Book Description:

For many years, Pam struggled on the sharp edges of suicide, grieving over betrayals and loss in a vicious circle of denial, blaming, and shaming. Venturing forward despite fear and moving beyond feeling a victim, her back against the wall and fighting for her life, she used her voice and took action.

Pam overcame:

* Her codependency and her husband’s alcoholism—they both entered recovery

* Sexual abuse by her first psychotherapist—She sued him and pulled his license

* Her fear of going beyond family rules and limits—establishing a new family lineage

* Standing up to sexism, victim-blaming, and fear of owning her voice—realizing she is the creator and choice maker of her life.

Refusing to identify with the struggle itself, using what she’d learned, Pam went to graduate school and became a psychotherapist working with addiction, codependency, and trauma recovery.

But it was the life-threatening injury that encouraged her to share with others her spiritual experiences as a child, along with more she held within through the years. With all of this, her spiritual search deepened.

What she learned from her life journey is we are all eternally held within a huge field of Universal Love, God, or whatever name we wish to use. No one is left out. Not. One. Person. We humans just deny our connection to this Divinity, believing we are separate. Our belief in separation is what creates the pain and negativity we experience in this world. True peace comes from walking off this inner battlefield and coming home to our soul.

Pam believes it is our life’s calling to do this journey.
